My name is Ericka Shuptar. I am the 2003-2004 NSSLHA secretary. I am a second year student in speech language pathology and will be graduating in May 2004. I am interested in finding a job working with children in a birth-3 setting, elementary school, early childhood setting, or pediatric medical setting. In my free time I enjoy swimming, running, watching movies, helping with the high school youth ministry at my church, listening to music, and spending with my husband and my friends. |

My name is Marie Patton and I am a co-editor of the UW-Madison NSSLHA News newsletter. The newsletter comes out once per month. The other co-editor, Courtney, and I alternate months in creating the two-paged newsletter. I am also a former national NSSLHA President and current editor of the soon to be published Communication Sciences and Disorders Survival Guide (that will be available through Delmar publishers in October/November 2004). Outside of school, I enjoy being involved with my church, swing dancing, running, rock climbing, kayaking, reading, and writing. I have come to appreciate how valuable my relationships are with family and friends. They are a wonderful support in graduate school! |
