My name is Ericka Shuptar.  I am the 2003-2004 NSSLHA secretary.  I am a second year student in speech language pathology and will be graduating in May 2004.  I am interested in finding a job working with children in a birth-3 setting, elementary school, early childhood setting, or pediatric medical setting.  In my free time I enjoy swimming, running, watching movies, helping with the high school youth ministry at my church, listening to music, and spending with my husband and my friends.

My name is Marie Patton and I am a co-editor of the UW-Madison NSSLHA News newsletter. The newsletter comes out once per month. The other co-editor, Courtney, and I alternate months in creating the two-paged newsletter. I am also a former national NSSLHA President and current editor of the soon to be published Communication Sciences and Disorders Survival Guide (that will be available through Delmar publishers in October/November 2004). Outside of school, I enjoy being involved with my church, swing dancing, running, rock climbing, kayaking, reading, and writing. I have come to appreciate how valuable my relationships are with family and friends. They are a wonderful support in graduate school!
